* Keen Diagnostic Skill
It was interesting to see Dr. Li perform medical face reading (fading diagnostic method), a traditional, authentic component of Chinese medicine (obvious ones being pulse and tongue diagnosis). Though I came in highly concerned about an abnormal, continuous right eye twitch, she made some inquisitive, passing comments about my acne scars, and the veins on my temples (didn’t notice myself) which she said indicated a history of headaches. Though I don’t know the clinical significance or relevancy of these observations, the last part was true.

Kaiser, managed it well HA1C 6.4 but the neuropathy, numbness, water retention, lymphedema just kept on coming. Diuretics were causing kidney damage and I had allergic reactions to pain medication. My feet were so swollen sometimes I could only wear post op sandals and couldn’t get into my shoes which are 5EEEEE width! My neurologist referred me for acupuncture for pain and I had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Hongyan Li. I’ve had 7 treatments with her, I am able to deal with the pain and actually sleep 6 to 8 hours a night! To my surprise my feet and ankles are back to almost normal size and my shoes fit! She has improved my circulation and I am able to walk normal distances again! She has prescribed 3 herbal formulas that
I love Dr. Li. She helped me have a baby at 41. I had two miscarriages before trying acupuncture. Although I did not hold much hope of it working, after a two months of sessions and taking the pills she recommended I became pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful little girl in January. I am hoping to get lucky again and give her a little sister. If you are struggling with fertility, I highly recommend Dr, Li!

6 years ago I injured my right shoulder and pulled out a rib on my right side. I was unable to fix the problem properly so the injury spread up my neck and started causing me migraines that were awful. After finally listening to my intuition to see an acupuncturist I searched for the most qualified acupuncturist in my area and that’s when I found Dr. Li. At this point I was having chronic headaches (every day without brake) and it was making me miserable. After my first appointment my headaches stopped! Plus, Dr. Li relieve the pressure and pain I was having caused by my herniated disc in my L4. Due to my herniated disc I had trouble lifting almost any amount of weight and now I nanny an 8 year old girl who Jumps on my back for rides, i go hiking with once a week, play... Read more »
Dr Hongyan Li is nothing short of a miracle worker and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking to improve their health. Unlike many traditional physicians, Dr Li sincerely listened to my concerns with professional compassion and explained what I could expect from the treatments.
Although I scheduled my initial appt because I wanted to lose weight and get rid of the tinnitus in my left ear, upon examination, Dr Li pointed out that the primary focus had to be to lower my severely high blood pressure. In seeiing how high my blood pressure was, I had to admit that getting my BP controlled had to come first. Since my father died of his first stroke, I knew that my hypertension had to be addressed.
I was a little nervous about pain from the needles, causing my pressure to be elevated, but Dr Li had the gentlest touch... Read more »
